1956 Topps Baseball Set Complete Fair - Good+

This auction is for a complete set of 1956 Topps baseball cards. There are 340 cards in the set and also included in the auction are the two Checklist cards (both marked) for a total of 342 cards. Of the 342, 72 are "white back" and the rest gray.
Overall, these are
in Fair to Good condition (see photos). 50 cards have writing on the front (usually with the team name crossed out by a youthful hand and the player's new team name written in following a trade). Approximately 45 other cards show damage, ranging from creases to paper loss and tape/tape residue. Obviously, this set is not for the condition conscious but would be an inexpensive way to get this classic baseball set.
Star player cards are mostly in Good-Good+ condition:

This set was put
together in the 1970's over a number of years but the core of it was acquired in the
late 1960's-early 1970's. This is part of the last group of cards/sets
from a large personal collection and is being offered because it's time
to simplify.
