1995 Pokemon Japanese Topsun Blue Back No Number Charizard PSA 9 MINT

Among the first Pokemon cards ever released, Topsun cards were released in Japan by Top-Seika in packs of their chewing gum in the late 1990s. Collectors would receive two cards randomly inserted inside their packs of gum featuring artwork by legendary Pokemon illustrator Ken Sugimori, with this one showcasing a tremendous illustration of fan favorite Charizard. With raw cards becoming increasingly difficult to grade due to age, collectability, cardstock, manufacturer problems, and an overall scarcity of sealed product; these cards will continue to increase in value over time as more people realize their significance. With 'Blue Back' cards being considered the first printing of these cards, and the "No Number" variants widely accepted as the first printing of those, you are looking at a true piece of Pokemon history.
