As close as it gets to a 10 while remaining in the MINT 9 camp. This card is simply awesome and may actually be the single finest PSA 9 in the hobby! Shockingly fresh and fresh throughout, boasting 50/50 centering, exceptional corners, and the overall eye appeal of a card worth far more than the grade might suggest. In the world of investment caliber Mantle issues, this 1956 production remains the best bang for the buck, considered by many to be the single most attractive production ever to feature the Yankee legend and also has the allure of also representing the Mick's triple crown year. We rarely get this excited about a single card, but can't help it with this specimen. Considering the recent sale of a PSA 10 at $382k, this PSA 9 feels supremely undervalued and positioned for a sharp value increase. One of nearly 20,000 cards, lots, and sets up for bid in our 7th Auction of 2016. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
Auction IntegrityAuction integrity is our #1 priority. Collectors deserve an auction forum they can trust. The sportscard hobby hinges on the honesty and integrity of the seller. Too often we hear of fraud and other manipulation that serves to undermine the integrity of our hobby. Bidders deserve better, where bidding is 100% legitimate and uninfluenced by manipulations such as fraudulent (shill) bidding by the auction house, consignors, friends of consignors, friends of the auction house, or anyone else who participates insincerely with the sole intention of manipulating the sale price. We do NOT permit shill bidding of any kind and actively police our auctions to prevent such acts from occurring. If we learn that a bidder is questionable, we take action in the form of canceling the bid and blocking a bidder from participating in future auctions. To preserve the integrity of the bidding process, we believe that eBay is the best forum to host auctions due to the privacy of the eBay platform. Unlike proprietary auction software, eBay's platform is equally transparent to both the buyer and the seller. We don't know the value of a bidder's max bid, nor do our consignors, or anyone else. We've spent the last 15 years on eBay (since 1998) working to garner the trust of collectors and the hobby at large. Rest assured that you can trust our service and can participate in our auctions with the confidence that integrity is our #1 priority.
PWCC Return PolicyOur 14-day return policy is not a 'no questions asked' return policy. Returns are only accepted if an item is misrepresented in the auction title/description/images, email, or phone communication. Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for return. We strive to be reasonable in the event of a disagreement and ask that buyers afford us the same level of fairness. Misrepresentation of an auction item is exceedingly rare. Regarding professionally graded cards: we at PWCC are not professional graders so we trust in the reputation and opinion of 3rd party professional graders. Professional grading is subjective and different 3rd party graders will often disagree over the grading on a single card. Such a disagreement is NOT a justifiable reason for a return with PWCC. As a broker of graded sportscards, our responsibility is the accurate description and delivery of the item advertised, but is not to guarantee how a graded card will be assessed by another grading company. Any issue a buyer has with a card's 3rd party grade should be addressed with the company that graded the card, not PWCC. Returned items must be received back in the condition they were received. Original shipping will be refunded along with the full purchase price upon receiving back a returned item.
Combined ShippingYes, we combine shipping for any bidder who wins more than one item in our monthly auctions (includes items won on separate days). Shipping discount due to combined shipping is significant; the highest shipping rate is applied from any item won and additional items are only an additional $0.25 each!
International BuyersPlease note: International buyer are subject to additional shipping costs based on value and/or quantity purchased. Please reach out to PWCC with questions before bidding. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
